SAN DIEGO - The Boys U-11 played to a 2-1 win on Saturday afternoon in an away match against Albion SC in Robb Field in Ocean Beach.
Two goals by Jonathan Hernandez lead the Xoloitzcuintles to victory in the Presidio League season opening match.
"I feel motivated that we are going to have a good season," said midfielder J.C. Hernandez after that match. "We were a little behind but we caught up in the end."
The team returns to work on Monday night at 5:00 p.m. at the Hilltop High School field as it prepares its next match against Rangers SC next Saturday Sept. 19 in Hilltop.
